Séries "Mad Men" e "Modern Family" lideram indicações no Emmy 2012

Elenco de "Mad Men", da HBO

A Academia de Artes & Ciências Televisivas anunciou na manhã desta quinta-feira (19) os indicados ao prêmio Emmy 2012. E "Mad Men", da HBO, recebeu sua quinta indicação consecutiva a melhor série dramática, e é o campeão deste ano com 17 indicações, ao lado da minissérie "American Horror Story".


A vencedora de 2012, "Modern Family", é a comédia com mais indicações, 14 no total, sendo quatro de melhor ator coadjuvante.

Os atores vencedores de 2011, Julianna Margulies (melhor atriz de série dramática "The Good Wife"), Melissa McCarthy (melhor atriz de série de comédia "Mike & Molly") e Jim Parsons (melhor ator de série de comédia "The Big Bang Theory"), repetiram as indicações neste ano.

O apresentador Jimmy Kimmel, do talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, e a atriz Kerry Washington, da série "Scandal", anunciaram os indicados deste ano ao Oscar da TV norte-americana. Kimmel apareceu no palco usando um pijama, já que o anuncio foi feito às 5h40 de Los Angeles.

Em 2012, o Emmy realiza sua 64ª edição, escolhendo as melhores produções televisivas em categorias como animação, dublagem, direção de arte, elenco, seriado, minissérie, não-ficção e reality show.

A premiação acontece no dia 23 de setembro, e será apresentado pelo mesmo Jimmy Kimmel.
